Hero MotoCorp Exceeds Expectations With Q3 FY25 Results

Hero MotoCorp announced its Q3 FY25 results, reporting a 12% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit, reaching ₹1,203 crore. This exceeded analysts’ projections. The company’s revenue from operations also grew by 5% YoY to ₹10,211 crore.

The company’s operating revenue from its operations was ₹ 10,211 crore as against ₹ 9,724 crore in the same period of last year.

On the other hand, self-generated revenue increased at ₹ 10,260 crores at a YoY growth of 5%, and the profit after tax (PAT) also climbed up to ₹ 1,108 crores by showcasing a YoY growth of only 1.5 %.

The company also pays an interim dividend of ₹100 per share [5000%].

Said that it has achieved a one percent market share in the 100cc segment with Splendor and in 125cc segment makers Xtreme 125R and Super Splendor. It also witnessed the highest-ever quarterly retail sales in terms of sales, the highest-ever festive retail offtake.

This was mainly the performance of the EV and global businesses that aided its growth. Electric scooter VIDA recorded the highest monthly retails ever and also was able to increase market share in the three months period, added the management.

They also advanced quickly in worldwide operations, moving faster than the industry average in Bangladesh and Colombia, it also stated.

Speaking about the performance in this quarter and fiscal year, Vivek Anand, the CFO of Hero MotoCorp, said that the result was indicative of the execution of the company’s strategic plans. We have received year-to-date top-line and bottom-line growth and reached a record in the nine-month revenue and profits.

“While moving on to the next fiscal year, the products that have been introduced in Bharat Mobility would continue the enhancement of the company’s presence especially in the premium and scooter segment,” he said.

In a statement, Mr Khatri added that overall Consumer Confidence is also going to receive a boost from the Union Budget 2025, consisting of tax relief to the middle class, infrastructure investment, and support to the agricultural sector.
