Castrol India’s stock rose by 9% in the early trade of Tuesday, February 4, as per the records of the National Stock Exchange, making the highest share price up to the level of ₹ 192.90 each for the shares in the company because of investors’ positive response to Castrol’s Q3 and FY numbers declared subsequent to markets closing on Monday.
The company has adopted the December year end, that is the financial year runs from January to December. Within the financial year for 4Q, which is from October to December, the company generated a revenue from operations of ₹ 1,354 crore, up by 7% from ₹ 1,264 crore the company recorded in 4Q 2023.
EBIT or Earning Before Interest and Tax for 4Q 2024 was at ₹371 crore, up by 14% as compared to ₹ 324 crore for 4Q 2023.
For the 4Q of the year 2024, the net profit was at ₹271 crore, an advancement of 12% as opposed to ₹ 242 crore for the 4Q of the year 2023.
The PBT of the company in 2024 was ₹1,258 crore, and there was an increase of 6% from the PBT of 2023, which amounted to ₹1,181 crore. In the earning field, PAT for the financial year 2024 was ₹ 927 crore, which was up by 7% from ₹ 864 crore PAT of the financial year 2023.
Announcing the results for financial year 2024, the managing director of Castrol India Limited, Kedar Lele said, ‘For the strategic product segments, we had progressive changes and in the respective market we targeted’.

In this way, to our industrial partners, we advanced rust protection by means of accuracy and customizing solutions.

Kedar Lele, Managing Director of Castrol India, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation and market expansion. He noted that in 2024, Castrol introduced significant innovations across key product categories and expanded its market reach, particularly in rural areas.
The company now services over 36,000 workshops and stores as part of a broader network that includes more than 143,000 outlets nationwide.
