Kabra Jewels sold its shares 90% above its issue price to everyday investors via NSE SME exchanges on Wednesday. The stock opened at Rs 243.2 against the issue price of Rs 128.

The IPO – which was entirely a new offer of 31.25 lakh equity that was being floated for the first time – also attracted healthy bidding by investors, with the stock being subscribed 350 times at close.

For the repayment of debt, working capital necessities as well as other miscellaneous uses, the net of the amount raised through public offer will be used.

All of the showrooms are run and administered by the company and have been rented out.
