Azad Engineering signed a long-term agreement with Rolls-Royce to provide Civil Aviation Engine Components

Azad Engineering Ltd, based in Hyderabad, said on Wednesday (February 5) that it had inked a long-term deal with Rolls-Royce PLC, headquartered in London, to manufacture and supply crucial civil aviation engine components.

“…we now inform you that Rolls-Royce PLC, London- United Kingdom inks deal with AZAD Engineering Limited, Hyderabad- India to produce CIVIL AIRCRAFT ENGINE components in AZAD, India to supply on an ongoing basis extremely complex machined parts for a period of life of the Engine Program,” according to a regulatory filing. Azad Engineering will manufacture very complicated machined parts in India for the duration of the engine program. This deal deepens Azad Engineering and Rolls-Royce’s continuing relationship, demonstrating their shared dedication to aerospace production, precise engineering, and innovation.

“This historic agreement marks another fresh chapter of CIVIL AIRCRAFT ENGINE COMPONENTS in the collaboration between Azad Engineering and Rolls Royce, reaffirming both companies’ commitment to innovation, precision engineering, and excellence in Aerospace Manufacturing,” according to the statement. Azad Engineering Ltd shares closed at ₹1,470.00, down ₹15.65 (1.05%) on the BSE.
